1. You Have Innate Mechanical or Electrical Sympathy
Are you always fixing stuff? Do you have a pile of complete (and incomplete) projects? Do you have unusually strong opinions on screwdriver heads? These indicators are not job requirements, but they are strong signs that you would be a good fit at Mantis Composites.
2. You Like Really Challenging Problems
We work on some of the hardest problems in aerospace, defense, and manufacturing. At Mantis Composites, people are around to do the jobs that machines and software can’t, which means we want people that get excited to solve problems and perform highly variable work.
3. You have a Unique Background
There isn’t a degree you can get in carbon fiber 3D printing. Everyone that works at Mantis Composites brings a unique background to the table. Our team members’ diverse skill sets allow us to solve problems that don’t have readily defined solutions. We have employees with backgrounds in race cars, high-volume foodservice, heavy equipment operation, baking, commercial fishing, acting, and bicycle repair. We seek out people that can bring a novel skill set, not just formal qualifications.
